A GRAND COMMEMORATIVE CELEBRATION WAS HELD AT THE UNIFICATION HALL TO MARK THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS BETWEEN CANADA AND VIETNAM.

On the evening of August 21, 2023, a grand celebration was held at the Unification Hall to commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Canada and Vietnam.

Distinguished guests in attendance included Mr. Vo Van Hoan, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, and Mr. Behzad Babakhani, Canadian Ambassador to Vietnam. During the ceremony, the Canadian Business Association in Vietnam (CanCham) and the Vietnamese Government signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the aim of strengthening the relationship between the provinces of Vietnam and Canada. The MOU also seeks to facilitate investment and cooperation opportunities for companies from both countries in the years to come.

The Unification Hall, with its prime location in the city center and elegant ambiance, offers a range of amenities, including flexible lighting systems, wireless internet, a 100-inch projector screen, specialized audio equipment for conferences or concerts, a parallel translation system in six languages, headphones for delegates, and a variety of decorations and setups suitable for grand gala parties at international events. These features make it an ideal venue for building sustainable partnerships between organizations and the Unification Hall in particular, as well as between countries and Vietnam as a whole.
