FINALISTS OF THE AYDA DESIGN AWARD 2022-2023 HAD A VISIT AND LEARNED ABOUT THE INDEPENDENCE PALACE ARCHITECTURAL IMPRINT THROUGH THE WORKSHOP OF ARCHITECTURE NGO VIET NAM SON.

Within the framework of the final round of the AYDA Design Award 2022-2023, hosted by Vietnam for the first time and taking place from July 14–12, 2023, in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of 28 finalists from 15 countries, 2 of whom are Vietnamese presentatives, on July 12, 2023, Nippon Paint Vietnam organized a visit to the Independence Palace historical relic for them.

This is a special tour for the finalists, for not only can they visit and observe the unique architecture of the Independence Palace, but they also have a chance to meet and learn from Architecture Ngo Viet Nam Son, son of Architecture Ngo Viet Thu (designer of the Independence Palace project), at the Banquet room, Unification Hall.

Hopefully, the visit gave the finalists of the AYDA Design Award 2022–2023 impressions of the architectural imprint of the Independence Palace and more inspiration for their creation, not only in the framework of this award. The Independence Palace is very pleased to be a place spreading knowledge, discovery, and passion for history and architecture!
